ECM II:
Maintenance development function
The services offered include the fulfillment of the maintenance development function (ECM 2) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/779 for the existing fleet of special and ancillary vehicles. This includes
- ensuring compliance with the specifications relating to the interoperability basic parameters set out in the relevant technical specifications for interoperability (TSIs);
- Development of maintenance plans: Review and identification of the need for revisions to maintenance documentation;
- Management of any replacements carried out as part of maintenance;
- Determining the need for a risk assessment of the potential impact of replacements on the safety of the rail system;
- Design and support in the implementation of maintenance facilities, equipment and tools required for maintenance.
